200 mile loop tracing sections of Old US highways 69, 54, 169, and 50, crossing several 100-year old bridges, and tracing an abandoned railroad on the Prairie Spirit Trail. Notes on rail-trail sections: Section through Iola, KS. is all paved; section from Princeton to Garnett is 15 miles of packed, crushed limestone, and is rideable with tires as narrow as 28mm. Riders have option to use paved shoulder of US-59 to bypass the unpaved rail trail section at Princeton, with caution advised depending on time of day this section is reached.
