A reversible mixed terrain point-to-point route from Reedsburg to Rockland. Portions of the route on the 400 State Trail, the historic Elroy-Sparta Trail (first rail-to-trail route in US) and the La Crosse River Trail, including 4 tunnel passes on Elroy-Sparta Trail. NOTE: light required for passing through the 4 tunnels as well as dismounting your bike. 90% mixed terrain / 10% pavement. NOTE: This is route #3 of 4 of the Dairyland Excursion series/collection that connects from Lake Michigan to the Mississippi River, across the state of Wisconsin.
