50 Mile Ride

THE 50 MILE ROUTE IS OUR SIGNATURE EVENT. YOU’RE IN FOR A TOTAL OF 47+ MILES AND 4800 FEET OF CLIMBING. TYPICAL 5-7 HOURS RIDE TIME. BETTER TRAIN FOR THIS ONE!

25 Mile Ride

25 MILE ROUTE ACTUAL MILEAGE IS 25.4, WITH 2200 FEET OF CLIMBING. TYPICAL 3-4 HOURS RIDE TIME, SUITABLE FOR STRONG INTERMEDIATE RIDERS AND ABOVE.

15 Mile Ride

NEED A LITTLE MORE CHALLENGE THAN THE 10? ADD A 5 MILE OPTION TO WATERWORKS. BE AWARE THIS ADDITION HAS SOME TECHNICAL AREAS THAT MIGHT NOT BE BEST FOR BEGINNER CYCLISTS OR YOUNG KIDS.

10 Mile Ride

TYPICAL 2 HRS RIDE TIME, 400 FT CLIMBING – SUITABLE FOR ACTIVE NOVICE TO INTERMEDIATE RIDERS.

Aid Station Volunteers -- Antonio Parkway at Waterworks 9:30 - 1:00

Distribute food and drinks to riders. Enforce cut-off times.

Riders will head south on Vista Trail

Riders head east up Twisty Tire Trail toward Mesa Trail

Course Guides #7 -- O'Neill Exit Gate

Riders exit O'Neill Mesa Day Use area through open fence and head east on Live Oak Trail toward Trabuco Canyon Road

Riders continue east and then north on Star Rise Trail

Raffle Prize Prep & Bag Stuffing -- Thursday, October 22nd

Assist with assembling registration packets and assembling any remaining raffle prize packs. Located at Foothill Family Church19432 Bake Pkwy, Lake Forest, CA 92610

Check in registered riders, help on site registrants, sell raffle tickets and gear

First Aid Support

Provide basic first aid care on the course or with riders returning with cuts and scrapes

Traffic Control Volunteers -- Early

Set up traffic signs, direct traffic into the proper parking areas. At 6:45am move to driveway areas to assist OCSD to help traffic control with the 7:00 50 mile wave.

Traffic Control Volunteers -- Late

Direct traffic into the proper parking areas and keep people from driving into the venue area.

Trail Marking Group 1 -- Course starts at RSM

Aventura/O'Neill gate to Arroyo Trabuco trail via paved bike trail, Arroyo Trabuco to O'Neill, up Live Oak trail, down Vista DH trail, (Vista bypass too) back to Ranger office at the main gate.

Trail Marking Group 2 -- Ranger's office at the main gate, through O'Neill

Twisty Tire to exit gate to Plano Trabuco past Dove Canyon waterfall & SMHS onto Tijeras Creek trail to Coto de Caza gate, across Coto de Caza entrance climb the trail to to Westridge trail junction

Trail Marking Group 3 -- Top. of Westridge DH to Tijeras Creek

Top of Westridge DH to Tijeras Creek trail and stay on it until the under cross at OSO Pkwy to Waterworks trail (Waterworks bypass too) and Arroyo Trabuco back to paved bike trail at the start.

Trail Marking Group 5 -- 10 Mile Route

10-mile route, course start via paved bike trail to Arroyo Trabuco and take course backward on Arroyo Trabuco to first water crossing and return.

Finish Line Greeters

Take photos of returning riders in front of the step and repeat from 10:30am to 2:00pm
