Another permanent option utilizing the vehicle-free, unpaved Snoqualmie Valley and Palouse to Cascades Trails. The route uses Snoqualmie and Cle Elum as the endpoints. This route does include passing through the Iron Horse Tunnel, which requires lights, is a little chilly even in summer, and is closed from Nov. 1 to May 1.
