Registration Volunteers (Saturday; 3.5 hours)
Assist participants in picking up their registration packet, checking photo I.D. Need to double check that athletes get correct packets. Hand out athlete T-shirts and "swag". Need attention to detail

General Event Set-up (7 hours)
Set up the race site; unpack trucks and supplies, put up bike racks, set up transition, hang signage, put up flagging, place traffic cones and more. Lunch to be provided (pizza).

Ensure safety for athletes mounting and dismounting their bikes before entering & exiting transition. Must be assertive and able to gather attention.

Finish Line: Prep & Race (4 Hours)
Support athletes at the finish by preparing water bottles, cutting up fruit, keeping water & Gatorade coolers filled, putting finisher medals around the neck of athletes, removing timing chips, etc

Event Breakdown (4 hours)
Help breakdown the event; roll up mesh fencing, pack up bike racks and flagging, return supplies to storage containers and about 100 other things...

Direct cyclists along bike course from your assigned position; take charge, assertive personality. Must be able to provide own transportation to assigned position.
