Hilly, mixed terrain route around particularly scenic parts of central Massachusetts such as a service road for the Quabbin Reservoir and several interesting historic sites. Route is about 30% unpaved. Dirt surfaces are a mix of graded rail trails and rough single-track that may be overgrown in spots.
