Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas in one epic ride for the American Explorer; revised in early 2025. Start in Baxter Springs, KS., enjoy some miles on Historic Route 66, on your way to the halfway at Gravette, AR., returning through Missouri's Buffalo Hills Natural Area, returning along Old US-60, and a portion of the Route 66 U.S. Bicycle Route. The route contains a half-mile of light gravel, which bypasses US-60 at Seneca; the rest of the route is fully paved.
